Beach Time

We had a GREAT time this year at the beach. We stayed at a house a very short walk to the ocean and spent the week swimming in the ocean, playing in the pool, shopping, playing the Wii, eating way too much, playing in the sand, playing cards, and relaxing. It was such a great week and we didn't want to see it end. The boys made sand sculptures, Brooks and Justin tried to surf, and the girls got lots of sun. Tessa spent most of the week sleeping and getting spoiled by everyone.

Welcome Tessa!

While shopping for minivans in Anderson, my water broke and we headed back to Seneca. Sara met us at our house and told us to head to the hospital. Tessa was not due for another week, and we were very surprised that she was coming early. On the way, we called all of our family and they met us at the hospital. We could not reach Joe and Sheri on their cell phone (they were having too much fun partying in Pickens). When they finally realized they had 10 missed calls, they rushed back realizing that Tessa must be on her way. They barely made it in time to see me before the c-section!
